Adam, Andrew, and Brend revisit Driveclub, and discuss why despite being one of the most recent old games Time Extend has covered, it also might just be the hardest to actually go back to and enjoy properly.
Hard though it is to believe, Driveclub's 12th birthday is just around the corner. In another universe, a decade of sequels to this fascinating and regrettably fumbled-at-launch racer would be keeping pace with Forza Horizon. But in this one, trying to play Driveclub now can but only scratch the surface of what was, at its all-too-brief peak, an engine of frictionless online racing and competition. It was also damn near the prettiest thing you could boot up on your PS4 in 2014, and we reckon it still more than cleans up today. So, resurrect that old save and DLC, if you're lucky enough to have it, and cruise the world's greatest driving roads with us once again.
